The best jigsaw puzzles for 5 year olds are normally between about around about 45 to 80 pieces depending on how experienced at doing puzzles. As they get older 5 year olds can work towards doing 100 piece jigsaw puzzles. When looking for puzzles 5 year old boys consider what they are interested in as this will obviously make the jigsaw more appealing. There are lots of jigsaws with characters from films and television, as well as puzzles with pirates, cars and more.
